Just Another Education.
So...where do I begin? Well, I left school aged 15 with a few half decent GCSE's. I then ventured to Art school, in the not-so-glorious town of Banbury, where I learned all sorts of neat arty tricks and tips. I drew all kinds of things which managed to earn me a triple distinction grade. That then led be to Costa-del-Pompey where I studied Illustration. I left the University of Portsmouth with a shiny 2:1 degree, and a massive smile on my face and some happy (skint) parents to accompany the pearly white grin.
Since the days of Uni, I have been working as a freelance illustrator on various projects, ranging from illustrated recipes, to childrens books, to spray painted ice lollies. I work primarily with a decent black pen, and then have a play with Photoshop and sometimes add in a sneaky bit of spray paint, posca pen and acyrilc paint.
I am now undertaking a PGCE in Art & Design at the University of Reading, with the ultimate goal being finding work as an Art teacher for 11-18 year olds.
